Welcome to Wang Biodegradable Polymer Research Group
Since 2013, we've been conducting groundbreaking research as a part of the innovative research community at National Tsing Hua University in Hsinchu City, Taiwan.

Research
Research in the Wang lab includes the synthesis and fabrication of biodegradable polymers, tissue engineering, drug delivery, and the design and fabrication of medical devices. We focus on the development of several novel fabrication methods and endeavor to apply them to the fabrication of biodegradable films and devices for both biomedical and environmental applications. We combined the synthesis of photocurable biodegradable polymers with 3D printing through digital light processing additive manufacturing (DLP-AM) systems, enabling the 3D printing of biodegradable scaffolds and medical devices. We also established 3 different polymer degradation evaluation systems based on ASTM D5338 (Biodegradation Test), ASTM D5988 (Aerobic Biodegradation Test), and ASTM D6691 (Anaerobic Biodegradation) to understand the biodegradation mechanisms of novel biodegradable polymers.
